Trumpet

Soon, I'll have a trumpet.
A crappy trumpet, barley capable of notes.
It will be perfect, for there is only one song worth playing on a trumpet.
Only 2 musical meters worth playing, to master the trumpet.

2 meters that will get stuck in your head until you die, and will be there in hell with you for eternity. Played by me. ... Forever.

It will never stop.
In the quietest of night, you will hear it ring out, it's catchy-ness unrivaled world over.

Victoria II (Again)

I've been playing more Victoria II. Yes, I'm Oranje again.
That game is amazing, and just gets better as you get better at it.
In my current game, I'm in 1907, I own large chunks of Afrika, and have a little piece of Canada. (Don't we all, in our hearts?)

I really have nothing important to say.

2010 in Music - The Thylacine Awards

An end of a year. I heard a countdown of "the 20 hits from 2010" which was of course crap.
So here, I bring you, the Thylacine awards. Awards you can not care about as much as I don't care about theirs.


1: Most Epic Moment for Music History.

My first award goes to the ARIA. (Aussie Recording Industry) for putting The Church in the hall of fame. Thank you. They deserve it.




2: Least Disappointing Album of 2010.

The award goes to Air Formation for the production of "Nothing to Wish for"
Many shoegaze albums lately have lost their quality. They stayed true to their style, and for that, I give them this award.



3: The best remix of 2010.

While KMFDM's Kreig was shoddy, one remix not only improved the song, but brought it to a whole new level of good. This song, is people of the lie. (Fire and Brimstone mix)

4: Best 1 hit wonder of 2010.

Diorama released the album Cubed, on which was the song Child of Entertainment.
The only song worth listening to on the album. For this they get that award.





5: Best band that isn't on youtube (yet) that released an album this year.

Botanica takes the cake for this one. Releasing their album Who you are this year.
They aren't Firewater, but they are lead by a bandmember of firewater.
They produce decent stuff.



Well that was fun.

Something I simply must share.

Oh fuck yes.

Goddamn Frog thinks it's better than me.

Look at those menacing eyes. And it's fuckin lilly-pad.
Now imagine that frog with a pair of sunglasses, and a backwards red ballcap complete with gold bling around it's pitiful frog neck. Yeah, that's right. It thinks it's better than you as well.

Instruments

So I have a pseudo-job fixing instruments. I still don't get payed. But at least I do something fun.
And I actually do get payed, in broken instruments. Heh...
I'll still turn a profit somehow.
