Minecraft Night 18: District 2 Map

This map is zoomed out, you can see creepercliff way in the north. The new fort is in the center of the largest island I know of yet. It's not a continent, but it sure is a large island.
I figure eventually, I'll make a border thing between District 1 and 2, so I can be more clear about my system.

Minecraft Day 18: New Residence

I can't see CreeperCliff anywhere, so I think It's safe to say...
I"M IN DISTRICT 2 *Gasp*
I start building my new residence with all of the stone I acquired from digging.

Luckily I have a shovel. So flattening the terrain shouldn't be to hard... should it?
About 5 minutes later my shovel breaks....
Grr..

I get the framework down for a small, battle ready fortress.
This is going to be fun.

I'm covering the floor with cobblestone, so that it can absorb more damage.
Never know when shit is going to explode.

As sunset comes, I realize I'm not safe here yet, so I retreat back to the cave.

Minecraft Day 17: Preparing for Voyage

I ran out of pork, so I make some bread during a visit to Fort CreeperCliff.
I need to be in full health for my ascent to the surface.

Back in F'tagn, I'm building a farm. The tree didn't grow, but hey, It's still alive.
I'm hoping maybe smaller plants will grow down here.

If I posted a picture for all of the digging I do....

Eventually after digging a long and winding ascent to the surface, I actually make it there.

The sun is just rising for Day 18 to start.

Minecraft Day 16: Fort F'tagn Project work...

This is basically my entire day. Mining a very long straight tunnel.

My tree still has not grown.
You might be wondering how I know how the days pass while I am underground.
It's simple really... I don't have the slightest clue.
I'm just estimating.

Minecraft Day 15: New Abode

I don't think I'm going to see the light of day for a LOOOONG time.
This is my new base... I'm using a metal door for extra saftey.
I'm deep down in the cave. I'm at the very end of my winding minecart trail.
Here I am making the new fortress. I'm hoping to not have to make any more trips up to CreeperCliff. I've been working so far down in the mine, that it takes up a fair chunk of a day to walk up to Creepercliff and back.

I spend a long time mining out the inside of the new fortress.
It uses up a couple pickaxes. I've got to ration my wood carefully. I only took down 10 planks.
Luckily, I have a plan to solve that while I'm down here.

Well there went half of my planks. But I feel like its worth it.
I've officially named it Fort F'tagn.
AKA "Fort Waiting"

I'm going to try to grow a tree here deep under ground.... This is my dirt block I hauled down here.

This is the time of truth, my sapling is panted, and it is given a lot of light.
If I'm lucky, I'll get a tree, and be able to live down here fairly comfotable.
Food sure isn't a problem considering how many pigs seem to fall down the cave to their death...

Minecraft Day 14: The End of Week 2

I descend down into blackness, down into chaos, down where I should not go.
MWAHAHA
Minecart Ride WOOHOO!

For my next Project, fitting for week 3, I'm going to have some big things happen.
I've been planning out a lot, hence why there have not been many updates.
Week 3 Should Change that.

Minecraft Day 13: Lucky Day

This is the monolith that is... Fort CreeperCliff!
Very early in the morning.

I notice this... traffic jam.. at my bridge... GODDAMN SHEEP!
I get a lot of wool though. I spend most of the day underground mining, and preparing my tunnel for my minecart railway to go through.

When I finally discover where exactly I want my minecart tunnel to go to, I start digging, and I come across some GOLD! YAY ME!

Minecraft Day 12: Fort CreeperCliff

I make a nice sign for my fort. I dub it "Fort CreeperCliff" Based on the fact that... well there are creepers, and its a cliff. (Well.. as much of a cliff as a tiny island can have.)
I also start an organization system for my own personal reference.
The Empire # is an address system.

On the second story, I build a window. Now I can watch for day an night while having a rooftop!

Fort CreeperCliff is getting taller and taller.

Minecraft Night 11: MAP WOO!

Minecraft Day 11: In 3 Pictures

I have a Bridge

I have a railway

And I have a second story.

Minecraft Night 10: GREAH!

I got brave and decided that my island was safe enough to work at night.
I went over to the bridge to the mine, and I saw 2 spiders. Their eyes glow red in the dark.
Needless to say, I ran back to base very quickly, and have been cowering since.

Minecraft Day 10: Epic Cave Adventure Pt 2

I find that even in the bowels of hell, Sheep will still infest every nook and cranny of my pathetic existence... Goddamn Sheep!

I find a couple chasms going almost straight down. This one is particularly interesting, as it has lava in the bottom. I'm just glad nothing has pushed me down any of these yet.

Ok, it's been over 10 minutes. I've found many dead ends. I've been battleing archer skeletons off like crazy... (You can see one in this picture) I had to eat some of the pork that I cooked earlier to restore health. The arrows do a ton of damage. I wasn't expecting that.
The mission must continue.

I am now.. hopelessly lost. I've been looking for the surface to attempt to save myself.
It's looking grim. I search for almost the entire day, until I finally make my way to a familiar site.
My fortification.

I come out to my mineshaft and into the light of day.
FINALLY.
However this cave adventure is only halfway done.
I have the other side of the cave to explore.
But that can wait for another time.

Minecraft Day 9: Epic Cave Adventure Pt 1

So its currently the Night of day 8. I just wanted to show off my ligting on the bridge.
I can finally do some work at night. Not to much, but it is a start.

This is quite possibly the most epic screenshot I have ever taken for Minecraft. The moon setting in the background, and my forboding house. Its all brilliant.

When I get down into the cave from my mineshaft entrance, I quickly fortify the shaft. I don't want any monsters coming into the shaft area, and up into the world at all.
(Although sunlight makes them burn!) I'm safe to mine in the shaft now. I get some torches, and eventually deciede to conquer this cave. Thus beginning something I can only call
"THE EPIC CAVE ADVENTURE."
I store my extra stuff, acquire a stone sword, and head into the cave.
In all honesty, I'm not expecting to make it out alive. I don't have any armor. So during this adventure, I will not be gathering Iron. My goal is to light up the cave, so that enemies will no longer spawn in here, and I may mine it without fear.
I go down deep into the cave, slowly lighting up the path ahead of me, after a few minutes I see this:

My very first encounter with monsters. Five or Six Zombies in a hoard trying to attack me.
I had a luckily placed drop off, (In the picture) so they couldn't climb up to me. I made quick work of them safely with my sword.

The cave is dark as hell, and I can't see very far ahead of me. At any time, some unspeakable horror could come flying out at me.

Minecraft Day 8: STUFF HAPPENS!

I smell some Bacon being cooked.

I was expecting to do a few days of straight mining, without anything interesting happening.
Hence my mention of doing 3 days in one post.
Then I found a cave.
This just got interesting.

I was feeling brave, so I jumped down to take a quick look. It is LOADED with minerals, Iron, Coal, etc. I'll be down here a lot. Unfortunately, it is dark. Fortunatly, I have COAL! For once I can actually make torches. I quickly light up the interior of the base. Also, I continue my staircase thing down into the cave.

My shaft is now at "Fall in and Die" depth. I punched a sheep halfway down it, and it died...

The rest of the day, I spend working on my farming platform. I also build a bridge out of stone out there. I gotta use this stone for SOMETHING after all.

I think this is going to be my last update for today, except for the map will shall come soon.
It was a surprisingly eventful day.
